Dear Friend,
Hot-Response has been serving the online community with its email autoresponder
service since 2002. We here at Hot-Response have done our best to adapt and grow over
the past 5 years as best as we can in terms of features and customer service.
Since then, our users needs have grown, the internet has exploded into even more interesting
and complex directions, and spam legislation has grown tighter and tighter.
In order to stay competitive and compliant in today's email autoresponder market, a full code rewrite
would be needed, and a major hardware upgrade would be required as well.
Unfortunately, there have not been enough paid signups even to warrant continued maintenance
on the system as is, let alone finance an upgrade of software and hardware.

You will not be able to log in, retrieve addresses, and follow ups and logfiles will cease to be sent.
All services related to the autoresponder will stop.
At the end of this email letter there is a guide on what you'll need to do to retrieve your
login information, stop subscription payments, export your collected addresses and
email messages and find another service.

We realize that you probably have several questions, and hopefully most will be addressed here.
This is a do-it-yourself guide. Sorry, but due to the high volume of users we cannot help you with
these steps.
1. Getting Your Username / Passwords
If you have lost your log in information - don't worry, you may get it here, by entering the
email address that this email was sent to:
http://hot-response.com/html_site/retreive_password.shtml
If you have more than one account (autoresponder) all the usernames
and passwords associated with your email address will come in the email.

2. Stopping Your Subscription Payments
You must log into http://www.paypal.com yourself and terminate your own subscription payments.
Please do this right away, as we cannot be responsible for what happens in
your paypal account!

3. Your Data (Collected email addresses)
Log into your account. Use the "browse /export list" link at the top menu. Scroll down on the page and you
will see "Export Your Mailing List" - the third box down.
A new window will pop up - you can choose your active list, paused list, removed or all contacts. Save the
window that pops open, or copy and paste the text from the window into a new document. You can save all the
different types of lists.
Failure to do this will mean that you cannot get your email addresses, so please do not skip this.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EXPORT LISTS AFTER MARCH 1, 2008.

4. Your Email Messages
If you would like copies of all the email messages you entered into the system,
log in and use the "test messages" link on the top menu. Send yourself the
messages and they will come to your email program.

5. Finding Another Autoresponder Service
Search on http://www.google.com for email autoresponder services. Make sure that you can load in your exported
addresses from our system.
